As a die-hard fan of the Rocky franchise, I was ecstatic when I first heard about the spin-off film, Creed. Not only did it pay homage to the iconic character of Rocky Balboa, but it also introduced us to a new protagonist in Adonis Creed. With its stellar cast and powerful storyline, Creed was a huge success and left fans wanting more.
Now, as we eagerly await the release of Creed II, it’s clear that this sequel is necessary for several reasons. First and foremost, there is still so much untold story left to explore in Adonis’s journey. We were left with a cliffhanger at the end of the first film, with Adonis facing off against Viktor Drago, son of Ivan Drago who killed his father Apollo in the ring.
